Al-Falaq

The Daybreak

الفلق

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ۝١

Saheeh InternationalSay, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

Abdel HaleemSay [Prophet], ‘I seek refuge with the Lord of daybreak

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ۝٢

Saheeh InternationalFrom the evil of that which He created

Abdel Haleemagainst the harm in what He has created,

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ۝٣

Saheeh InternationalAnd from the evil of darkness when it settles

Abdel Haleemthe harm in the night when darkness gathers,

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ۝٤

Saheeh InternationalAnd from the evil of the blowers in knots

Abdel Haleemthe harm in witches when they blow on knots,

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ۝٥

Saheeh InternationalAnd from the evil of an envier when he envies."

Abdel Haleemthe harm in the envier when he envies.’
