Saheeh InternationalBy those [angels] lined up in rows
Abdel HaleemBy those [angels] ranged in rows,

Surah 37 · Makki · 182 ayat
Those who set the Ranks
Saheeh InternationalBy those [angels] lined up in rows
Abdel HaleemBy those [angels] ranged in rows,
Saheeh InternationalAnd those who drive [the clouds]
Abdel Haleemwho rebuke reproachfully
Saheeh InternationalAnd those who recite the message,
Abdel Haleemand recite God’s word,
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, your God is One,
Abdel Haleemtruly your God is One,
Saheeh InternationalLord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises.
Abdel HaleemLord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, Lord of every sunrise.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars
Abdel HaleemWe have adorned the lowest heaven with stars,
Saheeh InternationalAnd as protection against every rebellious devil
Abdel Haleemand made them a safeguard against every rebellious devil:
Saheeh International[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,
Abdel Haleemthey cannot eavesdrop on the Higher Assembly––pelted from every side,
Saheeh InternationalRepelled; and for them is a constant punishment,
Abdel Haleemdriven away, they will have perpetual torment––
Saheeh InternationalExcept one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].
Abdel Haleemif any [of them] stealthily snatches away a fragment, he will be pursued by a piercing flame.
Saheeh InternationalThen inquire of them, [O Muḥammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created them [i.e., men] from sticky clay.
Abdel HaleemSo [Prophet], ask the disbelievers: is it harder to create them than other beings We have created? We created them from sticky clay.
Saheeh InternationalBut you wonder, while they mock,
Abdel HaleemYou marvel as they scoff,
Saheeh InternationalAnd when they are reminded, they remember not.
Abdel Haleemtake no heed when they are warned,
Saheeh InternationalAnd when they see a sign, they ridicule.
Abdel Haleemand resort to ridicule when they see a sign,
Saheeh InternationalAnd say, "This is not but obvious magic.
Abdel Haleemsaying, ‘This is no more than blatant sorcery.’
Saheeh InternationalWhen we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
Abdel Haleem‘What! After we have died and become dust and bones, shall we really be raised up again,
Saheeh InternationalAnd our forefathers [as well]?"
Abdel Haleemalong with our forefathers?’
Saheeh InternationalSay, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible."
Abdel HaleemSay, ‘Yes indeed, and you will be humiliated.’
Saheeh InternationalIt will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.
Abdel HaleemJust one blast and––lo and behold!––they will look
Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense."
Abdel Haleemand say, ‘Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgement.’
Saheeh International[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."
Abdel Haleem[It will be said], ‘This is the Day of Decision, which you used to deny.
Saheeh International[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship
Abdel Haleem[Angels], gather together those who did wrong, and others like them, as well as whatever they worshipped
Saheeh InternationalOther than Allāh, and guide them to the path of Hellfire
Abdel Haleembeside God, lead them all to the path of Hell,
Saheeh InternationalAnd stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned."
Abdel Haleemand halt them for questioning:
Saheeh International[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?"
Abdel Haleem“Why do you not support each other now?” ’––
Saheeh InternationalBut they, that Day, are in surrender.
Abdel Haleemno indeed! They will be in complete submission on that Day––
Saheeh InternationalAnd they will approach one another asking [i.e., blaming] each other.
Abdel Haleemand they will turn on one another accusingly.
Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."
Abdel HaleemThey will say, ‘You came to us from a position of power.’
Saheeh InternationalThey [i.e., the oppressors] will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers,
Abdel HaleemThey will say, ‘No! It was you who would not believe-
Saheeh InternationalAnd we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people.
Abdel Haleemwe had no power over you- and you were already exceeding all limits.
Saheeh InternationalSo the word [i.e., decree] of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].
Abdel HaleemOur Lord’s sentence on us is just and we must all taste the punishment.
Saheeh InternationalAnd we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators."
Abdel HaleemWe led you astray as we ourselves were astray.’
Saheeh InternationalSo indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment.
Abdel HaleemOn that Day they will all share the torment:
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, that is how We deal with the criminals.
Abdel Haleemthis is how We deal with the guilty.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allāh," were arrogant
Abdel HaleemWhenever it was said to them, ‘There is no deity but God,’ they became arrogant,
Saheeh InternationalAnd were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?"
Abdel Haleemand said, ‘Are we to forsake our gods for a mad poet?’
Saheeh InternationalRather, he [i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ)] has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers.
Abdel Haleem‘No: he brought the truth and confirmed the earlier messengers;
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment,
Abdel Haleemyou will taste the painful torment,
Saheeh InternationalAnd you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do -
Abdel Haleemand be repaid only according to your deeds.’
Saheeh InternationalBut not the chosen servants of Allāh.
Abdel HaleemNot so God’s true servants.
Saheeh InternationalThose will have a provision determined -
Abdel HaleemThey will have familiar provisions––
Saheeh InternationalFruits; and they will be honored
Abdel Haleemfruits- and will be honoured
Saheeh InternationalIn gardens of pleasure
Abdel Haleemin gardens of delight;
Saheeh InternationalOn thrones facing one another.
Abdel Haleemseated on couches, facing one another.
Saheeh InternationalThere will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring,
Abdel HaleemA drink will be passed round among them from a flowing spring:
Saheeh InternationalWhite and delicious to the drinkers;
Abdel Haleemwhite, delicious to those who taste it,
Saheeh InternationalNo bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated.
Abdel Haleemcausing no headiness or intoxication.
Saheeh InternationalAnd with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes,
Abdel HaleemWith them will be spouses- modest of gaze and beautiful of eye-
Saheeh InternationalAs if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected.
Abdel Haleemlike protected eggs.
Saheeh InternationalAnd they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
Abdel HaleemThey will turn to one another with questions:
Saheeh InternationalA speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth].
Abdel Haleemone will say, ‘I had a close companion on earth
Saheeh InternationalWho would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe
Abdel Haleemwho used to ask me, “Do you really believe that
Saheeh InternationalThat when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'"
Abdel Haleemafter we die and become dust and bone, we shall be brought for judgement?”’
Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "Would you [care to] look?"
Abdel HaleemThen he will say, ‘Shall we look for him?’
Saheeh InternationalAnd he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire.
Abdel HaleemHe will look down and see him in the midst of the Fire,
Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "By Allāh, you almost ruined me.
Abdel Haleemand say to him, ‘By God, you almost brought me to ruin!
Saheeh InternationalIf not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell].
Abdel HaleemHad it not been for the grace of my Lord, I too would have been taken to Hell.’
Saheeh InternationalThen, are we not to die
Abdel HaleemThen he will say [to his blessed companions], ‘Are we never to die again after our earlier death?
Saheeh InternationalExcept for our first death, and we will not be punished?"
Abdel HaleemShall we never suffer?
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, this is the great attainment.
Abdel HaleemThis truly is the supreme triumph!’
Saheeh InternationalFor the like of this let the workers [on earth] work.
Abdel HaleemEveryone should strive to attain this.
Saheeh InternationalIs that [i.e., Paradise] a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqūm?
Abdel HaleemIs this the better welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum,
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.
Abdel Haleemwhich we have made a test for the evildoers?
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire,
Abdel HaleemThis tree grows in the heart of the blazing Fire,
Saheeh InternationalIts emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils.
Abdel Haleemand its fruits are like devils’ heads.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies.
Abdel HaleemThey will fill their bellies eating from it;
Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water.
Abdel Haleemthen drink scalding water on top of it;
Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.
Abdel Haleemthen return to the blazing Fire.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed they found their fathers astray.
Abdel HaleemThey found their forefathers astray,
Saheeh InternationalSo they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.
Abdel Haleemand rushed to follow in their footsteps- before the disbelievers [of Mecca],
Saheeh InternationalAnd there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples,
Abdel Haleemmost men in the past went astray,
Saheeh InternationalAnd We had already sent among them warners.
Abdel Haleemeven though We sent messengers to warn them.
Saheeh InternationalThen look how was the end of those who were warned -
Abdel HaleemSee how those who were warned met their end!
Saheeh InternationalBut not the chosen servants of Allāh.
Abdel HaleemNot so the true servants of God.
Saheeh InternationalAnd Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.
Abdel HaleemNoah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response!
Saheeh InternationalAnd We saved him and his family from the great affliction.
Abdel HaleemWe saved him and his people from great distress,
Saheeh InternationalAnd We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]
Abdel HaleemWe let his offspring remain on the earth,
Saheeh InternationalAnd left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
Abdel HaleemWe let him be praised by later generations:
Saheeh International"Peace upon Noah among the worlds."
Abdel Haleem‘Peace be upon Noah among all the nations!’
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Abdel HaleemThis is how We reward those who do good:
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he was of Our believing servants.
Abdel Haleemhe was truly one of Our faithful servants.
Saheeh InternationalThen We drowned the others [i.e., disbelievers].
Abdel HaleemWe drowned the rest.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, among his kind was Abraham,
Abdel HaleemAbraham was of the same faith:
Saheeh InternationalWhen he came to his Lord with a sound heart
Abdel Haleemhe came to his Lord with a devoted heart.
Saheeh International[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?
Abdel HaleemHe said to his father and his people, ‘What are you worshipping?
Saheeh InternationalIs it falsehood [as] gods other than Allāh you desire?
Abdel HaleemHow can you choose false gods instead of the true God?
Saheeh InternationalThen what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?"
Abdel HaleemSo what is your opinion about the Lord of all the Worlds?’
Saheeh InternationalAnd he cast a look at the stars.
Abdel Haleemthen he looked up to the stars.
Saheeh InternationalAnd said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."
Abdel HaleemHe said, ‘I am sick,’
Saheeh InternationalSo they turned away from him, departing.
Abdel Haleemso [his people] turned away from him and left.
Saheeh InternationalThen he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat?
Abdel HaleemHe turned to their gods and said, ‘Do you not eat?
Saheeh InternationalWhat is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?".
Abdel HaleemWhy do you not speak?’
Saheeh InternationalAnd he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand.
Abdel Haleemthen he turned and struck them with his right arm.
Saheeh InternationalThen they [i.e., the people] came toward him, hastening.
Abdel HaleemHis people hurried towards him,
Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve,
Abdel Haleembut he said, ‘How can you worship things you carve with your own hands,
Saheeh InternationalWhile Allāh created you and that which you do?"
Abdel Haleemwhen it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?’
Saheeh InternationalThey said, "Construct for him a structure [i.e., furnace] and throw him into the burning fire."
Abdel HaleemThey said, ‘Build a pyre and throw him into the blazing fire.’
Saheeh InternationalAnd they intended for him a plan [i.e., harm], but We made them the most debased.
Abdel HaleemThey wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them.
Saheeh InternationalAnd [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me.
Abdel HaleemHe said, ‘I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me.
Saheeh InternationalMy Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous."
Abdel HaleemLord, grant me a righteous son,’
Saheeh InternationalSo We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy.
Abdel Haleemso We gave him the good news that he would have a patient son.
Saheeh InternationalAnd when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allāh wills, of the steadfast."
Abdel HaleemWhen the boy was old enough to work with his father, Abraham said, ‘My son, I have seen myself sacrificing you in a dream. What do you think?’ He said, ‘Father, do as you are commanded and, God willing, you will find me steadfast.’
Saheeh InternationalAnd when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead,
Abdel HaleemWhen they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on the side of his face,
Saheeh InternationalWe called to him, "O Abraham,
Abdel HaleemWe called out to him, ‘Abraham,
Saheeh InternationalYou have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Abdel Haleemyou have fulfilled the dream.’ This is how We reward those who do good-
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, this was the clear trial.
Abdel Haleemit was a test to prove [their true characters]-
Saheeh InternationalAnd We ransomed him with a great sacrifice,
Abdel HaleemWe ransomed his son with a momentous sacrifice,
Saheeh InternationalAnd We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
Abdel Haleemand We let him be praised by succeeding generations:
Saheeh International"Peace upon Abraham."
Abdel Haleem‘Peace be upon Abraham!’
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Abdel HaleemThis is how We reward those who do good:
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he was of Our believing servants.
Abdel Haleemtruly he was one of Our faithful servants.
Saheeh InternationalAnd We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous.
Abdel HaleemWe gave Abraham the good news of Isaac- a prophet and a righteous man-
Saheeh InternationalAnd We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself [i.e., sinner].
Abdel Haleemand blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly wronged themselves.
Saheeh InternationalAnd We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron.
Abdel HaleemWe also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron:
Saheeh InternationalAnd We saved them and their people from the great affliction,
Abdel HaleemWe saved them and their people from great distress;
Saheeh InternationalAnd We supported them so it was they who overcame.
Abdel HaleemWe helped them, so they were the ones to succeed;
Saheeh InternationalAnd We gave them the explicit Scripture [i.e., the Torah],
Abdel HaleemWe gave them the Scripture that makes things clear;
Saheeh InternationalAnd We guided them on the straight path.
Abdel HaleemWe guided them to the right path;
Saheeh InternationalAnd We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations:
Abdel HaleemWe let them be praised by succeeding generations:
Saheeh International"Peace upon Moses and Aaron."
Abdel Haleem‘Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!’
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Abdel HaleemThis is how We reward those who do good:
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, they were of Our believing servants.
Abdel Haleemtruly they were among Our faithful servants.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, Elias was from among the messengers,
Abdel HaleemElijah too was one of the messengers.
Saheeh InternationalWhen he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allāh?
Abdel HaleemHe said to his people, ‘Have you no fear of God?
Saheeh InternationalDo you call upon Baʿl and leave the best of creators -
Abdel HaleemHow can you invoke Baal and forsake the Most Gracious Creator,
Saheeh InternationalAllāh, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?"
Abdel HaleemGod, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?’
Saheeh InternationalAnd they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment],
Abdel Haleembut they rejected him. They will be brought to punishment as a consequence;
Saheeh InternationalExcept the chosen servants of Allāh.
Abdel Haleemnot so the true servants of God.
Saheeh InternationalAnd We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
Abdel HaleemWe let him be praised by succeeding generations:
Saheeh International"Peace upon Elias."
Abdel Haleem‘Peace be to Elijah!’
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Abdel HaleemThis is how We reward those who do good:
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he was of Our believing servants.
Abdel Haleemtruly he was one of Our faithful servants.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, Lot was among the messengers.
Abdel HaleemLot was also one of the messengers.
Saheeh International[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all,
Abdel HaleemWe saved him and all his family-
Saheeh InternationalExcept an old woman [i.e., his wife] among those who remained [with the evildoers].
Abdel Haleemexcept for an old woman who stayed behind-
Saheeh InternationalThen We destroyed the others.
Abdel Haleemand We destroyed the rest.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, you pass by them in the morning
Abdel HaleemYou [people] pass by their ruins morning
Saheeh InternationalAnd at night. Then will you not use reason?
Abdel Haleemand night: will you not take heed?
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, Jonah was among the messengers.
Abdel HaleemJonah too was one of the messengers.
Saheeh International[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship.
Abdel HaleemHe fled to the overloaded ship.
Saheeh InternationalAnd he drew lots and was among the losers.
Abdel HaleemThey cast lots, he suffered defeat,
Saheeh InternationalThen the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy.
Abdel Haleemand a great fish swallowed him, for he had committed blameworthy acts.
Saheeh InternationalAnd had he not been of those who exalt Allāh,
Abdel HaleemIf he had not been one of those who glorified God,
Saheeh InternationalHe would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.
Abdel Haleemhe would have stayed in its belly until the Day when all are raised up,
Saheeh InternationalBut We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill.
Abdel Haleembut We cast him out, sick, on to a barren shore,
Saheeh InternationalAnd We caused to grow over him a gourd vine.
Abdel Haleemand made a gourd tree grow above him.
Saheeh InternationalAnd We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more.
Abdel HaleemWe sent him to a hundred thousand people or more.
Saheeh InternationalAnd they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time.
Abdel HaleemThey believed, so We let them live out their lives.
Saheeh InternationalSo inquire of them, [O Muḥammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?
Abdel HaleemNow [Muhammad], ask the disbelievers: is it true that your Lord has daughters, while they choose sons for themselves?
Saheeh InternationalOr did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?"
Abdel HaleemDid We create the angels as females while they were watching?
Saheeh InternationalUnquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say,
Abdel HaleemNo indeed! It is one of their lies when they say,
Saheeh International"Allāh has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
Abdel Haleem‘God has begotten.’ How they lie!
Saheeh InternationalHas He chosen daughters over sons?
Abdel HaleemDid He truly choose daughters in preference to sons?
Saheeh InternationalWhat is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement?
Abdel HaleemWhat is the matter with you? How do you form your judgements?
Saheeh InternationalThen will you not be reminded?
Abdel HaleemDo you not reflect?
Saheeh InternationalOr do you have a clear authority?
Abdel HaleemDo you perhaps have clear authority?
Saheeh InternationalThen produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.
Abdel HaleemBring your scriptures, if you are telling the truth.
Saheeh InternationalAnd they have made [i.e., claimed] between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought [to punishment].
Abdel HaleemThey claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be brought before Him.
Saheeh InternationalExalted is Allāh above what they describe,
Abdel HaleemGod is far above what they attribute to Him-
Saheeh InternationalExcept the chosen servants of Allāh [who do not share in that sin].
Abdel Haleemthe true servants of God do not do such things-
Saheeh InternationalSo indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship,
Abdel Haleemand neither you nor what you worship
Saheeh InternationalYou cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him
Abdel Haleemcan lure away from God any
Saheeh InternationalExcept he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire.
Abdel Haleemexcept those who will burn in Hell.
Saheeh International[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.
Abdel Haleem[The angels say], ‘Every single one of us has his appointed place:
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer].
Abdel Haleemwe are ranged in ranks.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, we are those who exalt Allāh."
Abdel HaleemWe glorify God.’
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, they [i.e., the disbelievers] used to say,
Abdel Haleem[The disbelievers] used to say,
Saheeh International"If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples,
Abdel Haleem‘If only we had a scripture like previous people,
Saheeh InternationalWe would have been the chosen servants of Allāh."
Abdel Haleemwe would be true servants of God,’
Saheeh InternationalBut they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know.
Abdel Haleemyet now they reject [the Quran]. They will soon realize.
Saheeh InternationalAnd Our word [i.e., decree] has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,
Abdel HaleemOur word has already been given to Our servants the messengers:
Saheeh International[That] indeed, they would be those given victory
Abdel Haleemit is they who will be helped,
Saheeh InternationalAnd [that] indeed, Our soldiers [i.e., the believers] will be those who overcome.
Abdel Haleemand the ones who support Our cause will be the winners.
Saheeh InternationalSo, [O Muḥammad], leave them for a time.
Abdel HaleemSo [Prophet] turn away from the disbelievers for a while.
Saheeh InternationalAnd see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see.
Abdel HaleemWatch them: they will soon see.
Saheeh InternationalThen for Our punishment are they impatient?
Abdel HaleemDo they really wish to hasten Our punishment?
Saheeh InternationalBut when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.
Abdel HaleemWhen it descends on their courtyards, how ter-rible that morning will be for those who were warned!
Saheeh InternationalAnd leave them for a time.
Abdel Haleem[Prophet], turn away from the disbelievers for a while.
Saheeh InternationalAnd see, for they are going to see.
Abdel HaleemWatch them: they will soon see.
Saheeh InternationalExalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe.
Abdel HaleemYour Lord, the Lord of Glory, is far above what they attribute to Him.
Saheeh InternationalAnd peace upon the messengers.
Abdel HaleemPeace be upon the messengers
